This website is all about Terry Franks and his singing career that spanned 5 decades and saw him and his bands (The Terriers, The Avalons & Reflections) perform on stage with various acts including Cliff Richard, Johnny Kidd, Gene Vincent, Marty Wilde and Joe Brown!
Terry's career began at Woodlands Park Village Hall, Maidenhead in August 1958 when Terry Franks And The Terriers took part in a concert.

In 1962, Terry joined up with the Avalons and the boys became professional, touring the UK until 1964. EMI signed them up and they recorded several songs at the world renowned Abbey Road Studios made famous by The Beatles.

After a break of fifteen years which saw Terry marry Geraldine and have three children, Terry decided to form another band so in late 1979 Terry Franks And Reflections were born. The new band spent 18 months rehearsing before performing at Social Clubs and Private Functions from 1981 onwards.
In 1993, the band decided to revert back to the Avalons name and continued to perform almost every weekend until their retirement in October 2006.
