Terry Franks
Entertainer • Musician • Family Man
Across 5 decades, Terry Franks did what he loved most: he stood before an audience, microphone in hand, and gave them a show to remember.
From those first steps onto the stage at Woodlands Park Village Hall in 1958, through the thrill of recording at Abbey Road Studios, to the countless weekends entertaining at social clubs across Berkshire — Terry lived for the music and the connection it created.
He shared bills with rock & roll legends. He spent months getting a band ready because anything less than perfect wasn't good enough. He stepped away for family, then came back because the stage never really let him go.
Terry is remembered not just for the songs he sang, but for the joy he brought to audiences, the friendships he forged with bandmates, and the love he shared with his family.
To all who knew him — this site is a tribute to a man who found his calling and followed it for five decades.
